Lily Yu is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Ohio, an assistant professor at the Ohio State University. She has been practicing medicine since 1986. She received both eastern and western medical training and got her medical degree from Bethune Medical University in Changchun, China, and completed a three-year residency in Beijing Medical University. Then she practiced in China, Germany and the United States, and successfully helped people with various health conditions. She is a certified acupuncturist by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a member of American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAOM) and Ohio American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (OAAOM). Now she practices in her clinic, and also teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine at OSU and the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM) in Columbus, Ohio.
